what was once celebrated
becomes lamented decades pass
fates are cemented
in the absence
of just one
the existence of many come undone
to miss another with the entire soul
so much so
it’s hard to know
no matter the lengths you strive
if you are even still alive
life is but constant change
nothing ever stays the same
it is what it is & there is
no one to blame
let go
there is no such thing
as control
some will weather storms
